Mystery has been with us about two months now and is making progress.  In the last week she has turned a corner and is starting to run up to me wagging her tail and turning over on her back to show me her belly.  She is also beginning to follow me around, rather than running and hiding.  Although she still will not let me pet her when she is fed, she does take treats.  She goes on daily walks with the pack and it has really helped her.   In fact, she loves her walks!  We will try to get some footage of her on video, although when she sees the camera she freezes up.

It takes a lot of time to undo the damage of human abuse to animals.  Scars will remain, but love, compassion and patience will prevail and a new life can begin.  That is what we see for Mystery.
